The Neighborhood House Charter School (NHCS) was founded with the vision that low-income urban children could perform at levels comparable to their suburban peers if supported by a school that combines a rigorous academic program with social and health care services.
By providing small class sizes, after school and summer enrichment programs, and specialists in the arts, literacy and writing, NHCS is narrowing the gap between students in urban and suburban environments.
As a full service school the Neighborhood House Charter School is committed to providing an array of opportunities for our students both in and out of school. All of our out-of-school-time programs fit with this mission by providing educational and engaging child care to our families at an affordable price, a High School Placement Program, and a Health Care Initiative.
We serve grades K1 - 8. Please visit us on the web at neighborhoodhousecharterschool.org or plan a visit to our school. Please feel free to contact us at:
